I started using Caudalie’s Vinoperfect Day Perfecting Fluid about two months ago and finally feel like I have used it for a considerable amount of time to do a justified review. I love the beauty elixir which worked well for me but I stopped using it the past two months, just to see what this product can really do.
This product claims to be an oil-free moisturizer that instantly regenerates skin, smooths lines, minimizes pores, and reduces dark spots. Might I say what a bold statement that is? I have used this every morning without fail and I definitely did not see my pores minimised or my dark spots reduced. I’m lucky that I don’t have any lines to smooth so I can’t really judge this product on that but I suppose it did make my skin look more radiant and healthy. However, at the price of 40 euros, one would really like the rest of the benefits it supposedly offered, no?
I feel a slight itch on a small area of my face when I use it sometimes but it doesn’t make me break out. Perhaps I am slightly sensitive to it but for the purpose of testing I have decided to continue using until I finish it. The Vinoperfect Day Perfecting Liquid may look like a small tube but I think it will easily last me another 4 – 6 months so if this product actually delivered all its promises, it would’ve been quite worth paying for.
The product makes a great base for foundation and I personally use it before I put on tinted moisturiser as I no longer use foundation. On the weekends, I just put this on to look a bit more fresh and it does the trick rather well. I have an oily t-zone but it doesn’t seem to make me look more oily or anything. Overall, it’s a pretty average product and if you already have pretty flawless skin and want to look more radiant and photoshopped, this might be okay to invest in. However for me, I will just finish this tube and move on.
Well, unless magic happens and if so, I will do a followup review.
